We are a truly local charity providing essential animal welfare services across Suffolk

The RSPCA Suffolk Central branch exists to help animals across Suffolk. Our Animal Centre in Martlesham can care for over 100 animals in need at any one time. Through our welfare clinics and financial assistance scheme we support over 2,000 people and pets annually by providing heavily subsidised veterinary treatment.

Everything we do is funded by support from our local community via our charity shops, fundraising efforts, donations and gifts in Wills.

Adoption & rehoming

Our Animal Centre based in Martlesham has up to 100 animals in our care at any time. Could you offer a forever home to an animal in need? Take a look at our current residents below.

Pet of the Week

Olaf

Olaf was brought into the centre after being found as a stray.

Once settled in his new environment and knows his human companions, Olaf enjoys fuss and attention with little scratches on the top of his head.
Olaf is a curious little explorer, you will always find him hopping around his enclosure playing with his enrichment or finding something new to investigate.

This handsome chap is looking for more than his forever home, he is also looking for a female bunny friend to steal his heart and become a happyily bonded pair.

Could Olaf hop into your home and become apart of your family?

**Due to Olaf recently being neutered, he wont be able to start meeting his future friend until the start of June to allow his hormones to settle. **

You made a difference in 2025

There are many ways YOU can help raise the vital funds that we need to deliver our vital services. RSPCA Suffolk Central receives no funding from the government, all the running costs of the branch comes from generous donations, fundraising and legacies from the public and local community. But together this is what we achieved last year..
